Reporting to parents

We hold parents' consultation meetings in the autumn and spring terms. In February, we provide parents with a written, interim report showing their child's attainment and progress in reading, writing and maths. In the summer term, parents are provided with a fuller written report detailing attainment across the curriculum. Parents are also invited to an open evening to view their children's learning.

A curriculum letter is sent home at the start of each term, outlining the learning for the coming term. Each term parents are invited into school; either to learn with their child or to attend a class assembly.

Termly information workshops are held for parents to keep them up-to-date with curriculum initiatives e.g. keeping safe online (CEOP), phonics and maths strategies.
